long term uveitis

Hello,
I have suffered with uveitis ( an inflamation in my iris) for around three years i am constantly on the same steriod eye drops and just as i start to wean myself off them i get another attack so basically i have had to use them constantly for three years. I have consequently from using these eye drops developed a cateract. My iris is also stuck so that i have to wear sun glasses in bright light as it lets too much in and also looks quite weird as my other eye is normal. On my last visit into the hospital i found a leaflet that said uveitis can be linked to allergies. The same year i developed this problem i started to get asthma along with hayfever (just seasonal). Is it possible for this all to be linked i get quite bloated out and was wondering whether it could be due to wheat or milk allergies also???? I mentioned this to the doctor i saw and he seemed to dismiss this off completly. Is there anything that the doctors are missing that could be causing this. They have ex- rayed my spine and chest and also done all of blood tests and they all come back fine so there is no links to other diseases could it be linked to allegies. I am now 26 and my sight in that eye is getting poor and i am quite concered. I have also recently read an article on fish oils and problems with the eye. Would they be beneficial to me?????
