Hi, I am looking for support to deal with withdrawal symptoms of regular usage not abuse of Oxycontin. Is there any way to help these symptoms?

Hi, it is really frightening that a drug prescribed by doctor is actually dangerous and develops addiction. Once I found that I can’t stop taking Oxycontin I was desperate, realizing that I am an addict now. You can start with decreasing doses you apply, but if you have been using it for a few months then it would be better to do detox and regular addicts recover therapy. Oxycontin belongs to group of opioids just like morphine and heroin. Naltrexon is used in therapy, because it blocks effects of opioids.
