Hi! I am 15 years old girl. I told my best friend I want to sleep with my boyfriend and she told me that the very first period after you lose your virginity is incredibly painful. Is this true? Why does this happen?

Hi there! My first period after having 1st sex wasn’t painful at all and I talked to some other friends of mine and they told me that theirs were painful either. I also looked it up in this book I have on sex, and there isn’t anything about this first period after, so I think this what your friend told you is disinformation.

I too have never had anyone I know tell me this. Your friend may have recieved some mis-information.

well I've never hear about it before, but I just had my fist period after losing my virginity and it actually did hurt. don’t have a clue why

I lost my virginity a few months ago and my first period was pretty painful, too. Especially the first two days, and then it gradually faded away.
