Hi, I have been taking Topamax as the therapy for migraine for a month now, but I have been experiencing side effects like loss of balance, decrasing speach and reading skills, and I am forgetting things. Since I have no more migraine, I hope that I will manage to cope with side effects.

Hi, when I started taking Topamax my hands and feet were painfully tingling, I was forgeting things, words, events, I had to try hard to pay attention to something or to concentrate. Carbonated beverages had strange taste to me, like never before, even some foods taste different. I feel thirsty all the time. I lost my appetite and some weight. I had balance problems, and troubles with vision field and focusing on objects. I was told that mild confusion may follow therapy, but I experienced losing sense of where I am or what I am doing in a few hours after taking Topamax. Along with this it was difficult for me to find right words and expressions, and I was always good narrator.
