loss of memory, attention problems

My father has started to experience some difficulties. I can see that day by day his attention is weaker and weaker. Sometimes I feel like he doesn't even listen to me. Also loss of memory is evident. What is going on? Do you have any idea how to help my father?

Something is obviously wrong. Your father has some neurological problems. You didn't say how old he is. Anyway his problem could be caused by many different neurological diseases, thyroid problem, metabolic disease, infections, Parkinson's disease etc. It is important to take him to the doctor for proper diagnosis. Don't wait too long!
