It is normal to have low blood sugar if you are suffering from diabetes type 1. I am new in this. I "just got" this disease and I am not completely understanding it. Doctor told me that diabetes means that my blood sugar is high because I don't have "enough of something" that decrease it. How is possible that now I have troubles because low sugar?

Diabetes type 1 really means that some structures in your body can or can not decrease work in order to lower your blood sugar. But in some condition such are: starving, exercising or larger dose of medicine you decrease sugar level. When you don't eat, your body doesn't get enough sugar. When you exercise your blood sugar is spent on muscle work. So, if you have problems with it ask your doctor how to avoid it.
