my girlfriend is in her 3. week of pregnancy, and we want to abort this pregnancy, but if it's possible, we want to avoid surgical abortion
here, in hungary abortion pills are not allowed by government, because they think, that a woman, who once has a medical abortion doesn't want an other one, so she will be more careful, but a woman, who once aborted her pregnancy with pills won't be so careful, because it's so easy to take a pill. there's something true in this point of view, but i also think, that it's important to let the people decide if they want the baby or not, and if they don't want, it's in first place to choose the alternative, which requires the less pain and suffer
that's why we can't use medical abortion..
is there any other choice to abort the pregnancy?
for example we've heard about the damaging effect of LSD to fecundated oocytes, embrios.. so we thought to take a relatively high LSD dose..
has anybody opinion, or exprience in connection with these things?

There's a very fair chance that it won't abort the fetus, but damage it instead. At high doses, she could end up losing her life along with the fetus, it's really not worth the chance.
Consider adoption, or break down and have a surgical abortion, if you're really set on it. |

that's true, i've read a lot about damages in fetus with lsd, but there were only a few cases when an abortion occured after using the lsd
Relatively high dose for us means 2 or maximum 3 papers, this amount of acid isn't enough to die due to overdose.. so her life is in danger only because of losing her self control itself, for example she can jump down from the top of a building.. |

| A medical abortion is less painfull than taking the pills, pills work but they can take a long time and the effects are painful...Medical abortion only takes a few minites and they should put her to sleep so its virtually painless...but if you are not wanting the baby then theres another alternative to the abortion, adoption will enable the baby to live a full life, to give it a fighting chance, someone out there would love to have a baby but they cant and would love to have one!! If its possible is there a place for you to seek counseling before you decide what to do?? I think this would help and ease both of your minds...Hope this helps!! |
