lump, swelling and painful right testicle

I have had a swollen testicle for about a week now and just a few days ago when i was doing my monthly check i was horrified to find a lump on my right testicle
I have had surgery before for torsion so is it possible that it could have happened again?
I really hope it isnt cancer
Ive made an appointment with the local gp
if anybody can help me out thatd be great
btw i am 19 years old Sad
