Few days ago, I have noticed something that terrified me. I saw there is small soft lump in my thigh. I know there carcinomas usually occur, because there are lymph glands. I do not know what to do now, should I visit my doctor because of this. Can you tell me how chances do I have to have something else but not carcinoma?

Of course, nothing is ever 100%, so I cannot tell you for sure what it could be. That is hard to do even when I have physical exam, and especially hard is to give you exact diagnosis online. Anyway, I have to tell you not each lump on thigh must be carcinoma. That lump you reported in your thigh has great chances to be something else, if you said it is soft. The giveaway is that the bulge is soft and depresses when touched. Less likely would be a liposarcoma, which would be cancerous, and it is very rare. If you are anxious, you could insist on a biopsy, which is the only way to get the definitive result. If diagnosis for your lump in thigh is a lipoma, they are typically not treated. If they are in an aesthetically unpleasant location, or it is large enough to cause pain then it can be excised, but only if you want this. I would anyway recommend you to visit your doctor, who might check if biopsy is needed, and eventually treatment or surgical removal of your lump in thigh.
