I have experienced a lump in my throat for about a year now. I do not have difficulty swallowing, but sometimes shoots a pain in my chest and hurts when I take a deep breath. I always have that feeling of a lump all the time. My doctor told me a while ago that it is stress related, well eight months later I still have it and it seems to be getting worse. Does anyone know what this could be? Could it be cancer?

anxiety is what you may be going through i have been through all the possible tests i had my tonsils removed and they told me anxiety i hada ct scan for my neck which shows everything from the tongue down to my chest i just found this out i am swallowing all the time its crazy but i just started medicine and counseling
