hi i have a white lump on my left labia, went to 3 different planned parenthoods & they all say its a infected hair follicle but its been there for over a yr, very concerned what this is? please can u tell me?
This really could be the infected hair follicle, but it’s weird you’ve had it for a year now. It is too much time that has passed and you should have noticed some changes with it, for example in size and color. Has this lump gone through some phases or is it the same all the time?
Have you visited your gynecologist for this purpose? I think the doctor’s opinion and his examination would be the most accurate.
Anyways, I would advise you to ask your doc if this could be a kind of a cyst or something. For example, the Bartholin’s glands are a smallish organ on each of the labia near the opening of the vagina and are normally invisible. But if a skin grows over the openings of them, they get swollen and they are then called a cyst. That might be this lump that you have, but you first check this out with your doc. And good luck!
