Hey, I got a small lump on my left testicle on the back side. I was checking this site and there were querries abt it being normal boils to some saying could be cancer. What are the basic ways of detecting whether it is cancer or not ? please help.

I have noticed this for a period of 3 - 4 months now. It pains only when i squeezed it a bit. else there is no pain nor any discharge.
