lung nodule with irregular, spiculated border

I had a CT Scan and they said malignancy needs to be determined, because the lung nodule has an irregular, spiculated border

Are these normally malignant?

Ive never smoked ad have had asthma related issues
Am in mid 50s

Ive smoked about four months twenty years ago and have now 75 years old.
