I am a vegetarian. I have heard something about benefits of macrobiotic. I know that it can help prevent many diseases in modern life. I am also big fan of that kind of life, but one thing bothers me. As I know macrobiotic is not vegan. Why is that? Are you aware of consequences that it has on animals?
You are right. Macrobiotic is not vegan. There are similarities between those two ways of life but also there are differences. This is one of them. Philosophy of macrobiotic teaches us how to work on our self. If we start to worry about those animals whom we are eating then why we should not worry about the plants we are eating. They are also living beings. Where does it stop? Should we forbid all living creatures to eat each others?
