My girlfriend and I are planning to get married and I would like to know what are my chances of getting her pregnant if you know that I have been regularly taking cocaine on parties. I have been drinking and smoking pot occasionally. Can my sperm be affected by the alcohol and so called “recreational drugs”? Thank you

Regular use of cocaine can impair your ability to father because it has a negative influence on sperm parameters as well as the ability of sperm to penetrate cervical mucus. Smoking weed and cigarettes could also affect sperm count, and motility. Moderate drinking will almost never impair your fertility while excessive drinking can change hormonal levels and decrease sperm levels and quality.
