hi. i have many diffrent symptoms, that at first after blood tests were run, the doctors thought i had hyperthyroidism, but i went to a specialist and they ran the tests again, and they were normal...my symptoms consist of: fatige, always tired, leg cramps, swelling in joints, hard to sit of stand for long, even short periods of time, shake a lot, cry about stupid stuff, always thirsty, more migranes then usual, and my chest tightens up and hurts and is hard for me to breathe...if anyone can help or suggest anything, that would be great...

Do you have any psychological problems? Do you have any unease feelings about certain things, situations that are not so stressful? Do you have any fears?

These physical problems you are experiencing may be caused by an anxiety disorder. An anxiety makes you feel stressful and your body acts on this situation putting you in the “fight” response. In such situations, stress hormones are released and your heart, lungs, and other body parts starting working much faster and start causing all those weird physical problems. One could never tell that an anxiety could make us feel that way.

If such reactions become too often and start interfering with your daily activities, then you may need help. This is especially true when an underlying cause of all of these symptoms cannot be determined.
Thyroid dysfunction can often lead to anxiety and if thyroid’s treated in time, anxiety may go away.

Have them check for diabetes as well. Hypoglycemia can cause some of these symptoms and feelings. It could also just be a combo of things, like hyperthyroid and diabetes, etc. Often times when a pt has hyperthyroid it goes up then normal then up than normal for quite some time. Sometimes you just have to wait until the body cannot compensate anyomore to see the final prob.
