I was reading a report from a patient who said that he has been using marijuana and coumadin for years who reported that his INR’s were not affected at all but the problem is that there aren’t many reports on marijuanas affect on INR’s.
Another source said that marijuana could not keep INR’s consistent and that it should be avoided while on the drug and long after if you are prone to deep vein thrombosis.
It was also said that smoking pot could lead to blood thickening and death.
I would like to report a severe loss of short memory after prolonged occasional smoking although not on coumadin.
