Hello! I am 14 year-old boy. I forgot to lock my room last night and my father caught me masturbating. I have never seen his face twist like that. It was so weird! I think he burst in anger when he yelled that it can cause acne on my face, slammed the door and left. Now, I can’t stop thinking about this acne problem! Is this what my father said true? Can masturbating cause acne? The thing is that I do have some zits on my face, and I have been masturbating for a year now.

Hi there! I am sure that your father was just shocked. I mean, you don’t run every day into your child masturbating. He must have been so confused when he said such thing that is so impossible. Masturbating can’t cause you acne! It is normal for you to have acne as you are at this stage of life when your hormones are going crazy, so don’t worry about it!

Well if masterbating caused Acne, I'd be covered from head to toe in it!! Embarassed

Don't worry, you won't go blind, it won't stunt your growth, it won't cause spots. It'a a normal thing for anyone to do.

Your father is absoloutely WRONG. Acne has not in anyway been linked to Masturbation. I think your father was just shocked
