I have a friend who admitted he get used to masturbate while watching porn. I am only 14 and I cannot understand this habit with boy of the same age I am. When I told him what I think, he told me I am sick if I never do the same. That is why I am posting here to seek for an answer. Can you tell me is it normal to masturbate so early while watching porn?

First, I am going to say none of you is sick, because everyone is individual. Average is that teenagers start to masturbate between the age of 10 and 15. Important is to evaluate the distinction between the habitual masturbator and the compulsive masturbator. By definition, the habitual masturbator still has control over his behavior. This type may use masturbation as a substitute for sexual intercourse, because no women are available, he is divorced, never married, or because he is afraid of AIDS. He is able, however, to stop the habit whenever he is motivated to do so, usually done for religious motives. Loneliness and depression are powerful factors in masturbation, both men and women. However, in some cases, the person crosses the line from habit into compulsion. That happens when they find themselves masturbating very frequently despite the use of ordinary remedies to avoid it. Difference is that ordinary people can learn to moderate their sexual behavior, while the addict cannot do so. That is why I have to tell you your friend is probably normal if he masturbating while watching porn, only if that is not addiction already.

I'll have too agree with you on that. I myself have masturbated to porn but now I have found that to be boring. Because of this I have stopped masturbating also I have a girlfriend now and I want to clean myself up as not to insult her in any way be manipulating myself in the act of "jacking off" |

Hi there!
Why do you think your girlfriend will be insulted if she found out you were masturbating? All mature girls know that guys masturbate and that is just the way it is. It has nothing to do with their emotions towards them, or disrespect or anything of that kind…it is just something that guys do even though they have a good sex life.
Ok, you may be right….some girls may find that disturbing but it doesn’t mean you have to stop and you can always check her attitude about the topic by asking questions…..not directly of course……but something like…what do you think of that?......would you like to try this……how would you like if I did this….and stuff like that.
You may be surprised if it turned out that your girlfriend would actually enjoy watching porn with you or even watch you masturbate….wouldn’t you like that?
How old is your girlfriend? How long have you been involved?
Be careful though when inspecting if she is too young and inexperienced, she may find it odd at first but that doesn’t mean she won’t like it later or except it.

| If a boy or man masturbates while watching porn he will eventually develop a compulsion or compulsive habit of both masturbation and watching porn which then usually develops into an "obsessive compulsion" and one that is almost impossible for a man to break. My advice would be to never start looking at porn while masturbating or you might never be able to quit and someday you most likely will want to quit, for one reason or another. |
