medical problem_lumps inside my viginal opening

Hi, just an honest answer would be nice, i have two lumps that are quite worrying the first one is about the size of a garden pea and the second is larger about the size of a butter bean, they are inside my viginal opening to my right hand side and the larger one is painful to touch and can be easily examined from the outside and inside, although the smaller i can only find from the outside and is not really painful to touch and they are pretty close together, i have a healthy sex life with my husband and have had no other sexual partners within the last 16 years i am a young looking 43 year old, any ideas Crying or Very sad

Hi there! Normal vaginal surface is bumpy anyway. These bumps are like folds of skin and very soft and spongy? What are yours like? The only thing that bothers me is this pain you are experiencing when touching.

I can think of cysts but cysts are usually not painful. Other growths that may appear in the vagina are polyps and warts. They are made when a gland or duct is clogged and liquid collects in a sac. Polyps are small skin tags usually not noticed and require treatment only if they get bigger. Warts in the vagina can be noticed at the opening of the vagina and felt by the finger. All the growth ask for different treatment, so you better have it checked.

If you are thinking of vaginal cancer, with such big lumps there would be additional symptoms like blood-stained vaginal discharge, bleeding after sexual intercourse and pain, problems with passing urine, such as blood in the urine, the need to pass urine frequently and the need to pass urine at night, and pain in the rectum may develop. This kind of cancer is very rare.

I too found a lump just inside the vaginal opening to the left. It's about the size of a butter bean as well and I would think its a cyst but it's not painful at all. I have never felt it before and was quite alarmed. What could it be?

My friend has done a tones of research on Bartholin's gland and I would suggest looking up information on that and see if the symptoms are the same. From the sound of it that is what I would guess it would be my friend has had hers for many years and it does not give her problems. It does change in size after sex it will increase but there is no discomfort. My duct does give me pain sometimes it all depends on the individual.

hi. im 16 yrs old, never ever had sex, therefore still a virgin, and about 8 months ago i found these small skin like bumps around the opening of my vagina. when i found them i had gone to the clinic and they said it was nothing and they wud go away within a few months...but i wanst so sure of the response i got...that was 8 months ago and theyre still there...i cant tell if theyve grown or if theres more because all i do is worry about them...im scared i have caught something but dont no how! ive been crying and almost depressed and i dont no wat to do...im goin to see another doc on jan.15 but im terrified and dont wanna be stuck with this the rest of my life. anyone no wat this could be? they dont hurt at all..theyre spongy and close together..feel like skin and skin colored...i dont no wat to do.
