My wife was addicted to the Ultram (tramadol) for over a year. She was prescribed on Ultram (tramadol) for back pain from work injury. I had no idea until I received a call from a friend. She is now 7 days off the medication and is seeking assistance through her own doctor. The problems are the withdrawal symptoms: seizures, sleepless nights, no appetite, and diarrhea. She wasn’t been informed good about this medication. As it worked well at first, she didn’t see the addiction building. She just upped her dosage to achieve the relief it offered her. The prescribing physician stopped giving it to her. I am very worried what is going to be next.

I hope your wife will be better. She might want to check out the rapid detox centers. In my case it was more than that. It happened that I didn’t know I was chemically dependant on Ultram/tramadol until one day my back wasn’t hurting all that bad so I chose not to take the medicine. I started getting hot flashes, shaky, the creepiness, etc…I took a pill and within 5 min I was great. I realized I’m hooked on this crap. I think I’ll try with one of these centers.
