Well, it would be wise to see a gynecologist and see what’s going on.
There are a few reasons that you may be experiencing bleeding. Now, it depends if the menopause is natural (came by age and declining hormones) or induced by hysterectomy and if you have ovaries or not.
If you had some minor ovarian cysts before you turned menopausal that haven’t gone away, they could be causing the bleeding.
You could have developed some polyps on your cervix or inside the uterus. These are harmless and benign but may cause bleeding. They are removable.
Uterine fibroids, which are also benign growths could have formed and caused bleeding.
Dry vagina and sex could have aggravated vaginal lining, that led to tear and bleeding, etc
As you can see, there could be a few possible reasons. This is why you should have an exam to be on the safe side. |
