i am 42 going on 43 and i have been having either late or early perods fo the last year and a few sweats and now i am 2 weeks late with my period and i know that i am not pregnant as my husband has had the snip for the last 18 yrs and i seem to have some of the symptoms can you help?
In order to determine if you are menopausal, you need to be one year without your period. It is quite possible that your hormonal levels are on the decline, indicating a period called Pre-menopause which causes symptoms just like in menopause, it's just that you'll have irregular or strange periods until they finally stop. Premenopause can last from 2-15 years, although it's usually 4-6.
