Hello everybody!
I am 48, female. I am starting my menopause and haven’t had my period for the past 4 months. I also went to the gynecologist because of that and he said that I am entering menopause and that I am perfectly fine. Well, this situation is worrying me… yesterday I got my period back? It is not heavy discharge, but there is one. Is anyone here with same experience?

Hi!
There is a common misunderstanding and it surprises me that your gyn didn’t explain it to you.
Actually, right now you are in a pre menopausal stage, just entering menopause. This means that is very possible that for the next year you’ll be getting period, but very irregular, like right now, for example every 3 to 4 months, it differs. However, right now you are in your pre menopausal stage. So, this discharge you are having is nothing strange, at least as far as this menopausal stages are concerned.
