| My main symptoms are: anxiety, depression (but occasionally), nervousness, irritability, hot flash, insomnia, etc. Beside this I mention pain caused by intercourse and ugly skin. I am a different person. I sometimes think that I could bite somebody. What is happening to me? Is this because of menopause or my anxiety provoking all this? |

| Hi, welcome to menopause. You have symptoms like they are described in a book. And by the way, anxiety is condition or symptom, in some cases, not a disease. Therefore anxiety can not provoke other symptoms. If you have too much trouble with this, maybe a visit to your gynecologist won't be a bad idea. He or she can help you with your problem. |

I was told about 2 years ago I was having anxiety attacks, but after reading about menopause I believe that could be my problem. I had a complete hysterectomy about 14 years ago, never even considered menopause after that....will be seeing my gynecologist soon.
Thanks |
