My daughter started her period in February 06 at 11 years of age. She has had a fairly regular cycle except she didn't have a period in July. What should I do if anything? She is active with cheerleading and also has lost about 6-8 pounds within the last 1-2 months.
There is really nothing to be concerned about. Your daughter is only eleven, hormones, and a healthy amount of weight loss can play roles in her missing a cycle.
Either wait it out or visist your doctor if this really worries you and your daughter.
