Hello! I am 36 year-old female and for the last three month I have been experiencing heavy bleeding during my menstration. The color being dark red with blood cloths. I am a bit worried as this presents an apparent change to what I used to have. Is this normal to happen to women my age or should I be looking for an underlying cause? Thank you
Well, there are several conditions that may have caused your menorrhagia ( heavy bleeding). The heavy bleeding you are experiencing could be a reason of hormone imbalance in your body, slow thyroid, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, the presence of IUD contraceptive or even iron deficiency. I suggest you visit a doctor to see what is going on. It is always better to be on the safe side.
