Hello! I am a 24 years old female And I‘ve been taking birth control pills for 6 months now. The thing is that lately I started having late periods and heavy clotting once I got the period. Does anybody know what may be a reason for this?
Hello there! I had a similar problem, it’s just that I’ve been missing some of my periods and then this heavy bleeding and clots.…I got really scared, so after two or three missed I went to the gyno and she told me that this is not so serious. Usually are missed periods, too frequent periods, spotting, or bouts of heavy clotting and bleeding caused by an underlying hormonal imbalance that can be easily treated. All you have to do is visit your gynecologist and see what exactly is a problem and solve it! Good luck!!

I had this problem from age sixteen until age twenty eight when they finally did a partial hystorectomy.I just found out at age 42 that I have a blood clotting disorder called,Anticardiolipin,Anticardiolipid,Antibody Syndrome,also known as Hughes syndrome.Have your Dr.do a blood test and check you before you suffer too much with this easy to fix health problem.
