Mesotherapy is the practice of using tiny injections of medications and nutrients into the skin and upper layer of fatty tissue to increase the release of fat and decrease the storage of fat. The injected areas may be on the face, such as lower eyelids, or underneath the chin; or on the body, such as the abdomen, hips or thighs. This process can improve the appearance in these specific areas of the body. Smaller areas may be effectively treated in one or two treatments, while the effect of mesotherapy in large areas is typically noticed after 4-8 treatments.
