Recentally I was placed on metformin due to issue with my hormons. I am 24 and haven't had a normol set of periods longer than 2 months at a time. So the Dr. along with Birth control Pills placed me on metformin. But since all my family has diabetes, that all I know its used for! Any info you can help with?
