I have diabetic gastric stasis or in other words my bowels are lazy. I have problems every time after a meal. I feel nausea, heaviness and my stomach is full no matter how much I eat. I am taking metoclopramide (Reglan). It is rather helpful. I am on the therapy for two weeks. I take four doses of 10 mg each day. But I think it is too much. I would like to cut the dose. Is it safe to cut this medicine on half?

First of all, if it is successful then you should continue taking it especially if there are no side effects. Second, you should not cut the dosage by yourself; you should consult with the doctor. At the end I don't think it is smart to cut the tablet, if you already want to cut the dose then take Reglan 5 mg instead those of 10 mg.
