I am thinking about having a baby but I am so worried since my sister had a miscarriage. My boyfriend has been pushing me and I really want to start a family with him, but I don’t want to loose a baby, I just couldn’t take it. Can you please tell me what causes miscarriage and is there anything I could do to prevent it? Thanx heaps!

To tell you honestly, there is nothing you can do to prevent or stop the miscarriage. Miscarriage is just a bad luck. I will try to explain to you how the things work and how miscarriage happens. When you conceive, the baby takes half its genes from the sperm and half from your ovulated egg. The cross-over of these genes takes place at the exact time of conception. Sometimes it happens that some information is lost and there will be no pregnancy. When the needed information is not there, it is then that the baby dies and you begin to miscarry. That is one of the most common reasons. Another also common reason is that the baby may not implant properly into the womb lining. This also causes miscarriage. As you can see you can’t in anyway influence this unfortunate event. But you shouldn’t be thinking about a miscarriage but on your beautiful baby.
