missed period-negative HPT-cramping and spotting

I am 29 years old. I have always had a very regular 25 day cycle. My husband and I have been ttc for about 8yrs now. The 1st day of my last cycle was July 8 and now it is Aug 22 which makes me 22 days late. I have taken five HPT and all came back negative. I have had very slight cramping for the past couple of weeks and then I spotted today(dark brown) and had really bad cramps. I have never been pregnant before and have never used any form of birth control. I just wonder what is going on. Any information would be much appreciated.

You may consider getting a HPV test, just to rule out any type of abdnormal diseases, I am going through the same thing only I am 4 weeks pregnant, I just found that information on the internet, or you could have been pregnant and had a threatend abortion ( miscarrige). You are the safest if you make an appointment with your OB/GYN.
