I have a friend who has miscarriage few months ago. She surprised me because they decide that they want to begin trying for a pregnancy right away. I think that this is too soon and need time to get over this loss. I have been reading there is no right thing to do, and you have to go with your feelings. Now I wish from you to tell me more about miscarriages because I want to understand better this problem.

There is no right time to try with another pregnancy, because each woman differently accepts miscarriage. It is normally recommend that woman wait for her first period after going home, and begin trying from then, if that is what she decides. There is evidence that the risk of miscarriage in the next pregnancy is about 1.5 times higher if one cycle does not occur between pregnancies. It is not imperative, and it should not be worry if woman find herself pregnant before she even has a period. This is because many successful pregnancies have started that way. Problem is that the most common reasons for miscarriage cannot be helped. However, after miscarriage, woman can prepare herself for pregnancy. Taking in regular exercise, a healthy diet, reducing stress and getting weight to within normal limits, gives her something to concentrate. Beside this, it improves chances for long-term fertility and preventing next miscarriage.
