mountain road bikes

I don't seem to notice any special difference between road bike and those mountain road bikes and I am constantly active in the mountain runs and I am perfectly happy with my road bike and can't understand why should I change it for some mountain road bike as my co-runners are advising me. So what do you think are mountain road bikes better on mountain roads?

Sure they are better, why do you think than people are using mountain bikes at all. You probably haven't tried cycling any regarding the fact that you seem not to know the difference so basically it is all in mountain road bikes frame it is made to make you more relaxed and the position of its angle is quite different so actually mountain road bikes are set up for dealing with difficult characteristics of different terrains. And it is not just that for you know also wheel and tires are made to handle the different types of terrain. So if you plan on going on the mountain runs than I advice you find yourself some good mountain road bike.
