I have had mulluscum for 5 or 6 years. It has never been confirmed by a doctor or any test. i've had it since I was 14 before i was sexually active. I am now 20 and have been in a relationship for over a year. My boyfriend recently developed similar bumps in his genital area. He had a slew of STD tests done about 2 weeeks ago. Everything came back negative except herpes it wasnt negative or positive. he had a 104 out of 109 (109 being positive, 90 being negative.) I have never had any known symptoms for herpes.
Can mulluscum cause less accurate herpes test results, or cause a near positive result.?
What does the 104 reading mean? positive? negative?
Whats a sure sign (besides testing) that i may have herpes?
