I need to know what kind condition is multifocal osteomyelitis. My colleague’s daughter has been diagnosed with multifocal osteomyelitis. She is desperate. I would like to help her if I can, but first I have to know something about this condition. Thank you.
Chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis is an inflammatory disorder in children. Lesions can occur in any skeletal site, but the origin of this disease is unclear. The clinical and radiological features on the disease are variable, so it is difficult to make diagnose. I think that therapies are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, bisphosphates, and oral steroids, not antibiotics. I know only what I read about this. I don’t actually know any kid who has it. It is very rare condition.
