muscle spasms heaviness in left leg arm shoulder face

My good friend has problems with coordination, she feels heaviness in left leg, arms, shoulder, face and other parts too. He has difficulty holding and manipulate with things, the weakness is sometimes accompanied by muscle spasms. They suspect of Guillain –Barre Syndrom…but nothing is sure jet.
