I use to do meth for about 3 years. I have been clean now for 2 years and I am having several muscular problems all over my body. Is this normal? Is there someplace I can find out the long term effects AFTER a person stops using? I've heard it takes several years for the body to recover from such abuse. Just searching for some answers.

hello! unfortunately i do not know the answer to your question, however i do want to say congrats on quitting! definitely a great thing you did for yourself as i'm sure you know. have you ever seen a doctor concerning this or anything else related to quitting? what kind of muscular problems are you having?
as far as i know, just make sure to keep looking forward and never back. continue treating your body right, focusing on eating healthy and getting in necessary vitamins and nutrients. hopefully you will not continuously think that every health problem that comes up may be related to earlier mistreatment, that will only lead to stress which has severe negative impacts on the body!
are you involved in any kind of exercise? this can alleviate some physical problems as well as cause some you may be experiencing. however if you have never turned to exercise before, it's great for increasing circulation and getting oxygen to all the cells in the body, as well as increasing endorphins which are great for our moods.
i'm interested in how you are doing and hope you are well
take care
