You could just be sore. I don't like when my fiance tries to finger me because his hands are rough and he doesn't know exactly what to do. It only hurts when he tries to do anything.

It is possible that he may have had a sharp spot in a nail or didn't trim his nails so it could have scratched you a bit inside. That would certainly cause discomfort.
