hi i have a 6 year old daughter whom has been picking out her eye brows as wel as her eye lashes. It has got so bad to where she is almost bald. What do we do and how long does this last? will her hair grow back? how do i address this?
This is an unusual behavior for a 6-year-old child. This sounds like a "tick," or a pulling of the body in response to anxiety. It would be wise to figure out what's bothering your daughter. It may take a mental health professional to assist you.
As for the hair, it should grow back, yes. Eye lashes and eye brows typically grow back very fast, so if she were to stop, all the hair should be back within a matter of days.
