my eyes are burning

Hi, I am 46 in menopause and I actually get a burning sensation front and back. Together with this feeling, my exes are burning. I did not realize others were having the same burning as I do. Is the cause menopause and dryness of eye or it could be something else?

The hormone changes associated with menopause are responsible for decrease in tear production and abnormal tear function. It results in dry eyes to extend of burning eyes and blurred vision. Anyway, before taking any medication you should be discus with your doctor to exclude other cause of burning eyes (such as cataract, presbyopia, defective accommodation).
