my last period was shortened, stomach pains for past two weeks

i'll try to explain this as best as i can but i'm not really good at explaining things........so here it goes:
My period usually last about 6 or 7 days but my last period (december) lasted only 3 days and it wasn't heavy but not as light as it usaully is for that part of my period and i started having cramps two days before my period began. I am still having stomach pains, and its been 2 weeks, but it only kind of feels like cramps. Then there are times during the day that i feel like i am going to be sick but i know that im not going to throw up, but when i burp it tastes like puke. Then about a week before i started my December period I felt like i was going to be sick and a friend from school said that she thought I could be pregnant. Also when anything pokes my stomach it hurts. Also at the end of my November period I spotted two days after my period was suppose to be over but I thought nothing of it.
My boyfriend is worried that I could be pregnant, but I dont see how I could be since we always use a condum (spelling?) and we have never had one break before and he pulls out after he has one. I am not on birth control. And we have played around before but we are both pretty sure that our hands were clean of anything from him.
....So I am just wondering is there any way that I could be pregnant?
And also I remember my health teacher telling my class that a girl can become pragnant and either have no period or an unusual period and then miscarry and not even know that she was pregnant and have her regular period again.
and also...If there is any way that i could be pregnant then is there anyway that I could of had/am having a miscarriage?
Also I hesitate to take a pregnancy test because I'm not suppose to start my January period until the 9th or 13th so I don't know if it would be accurate or not. And also If there is anyway that I could be pregnant then I dont know how far along I am, If there is any chance that I could be then I Guess that I could be 2 weeks to 5weeks but that is only a guess, So I don't want to waste my money on a test that might not be accurate and if it is accurate and it turns out neg. then I would have just wasted my money,but if it is accurate and positive then I dont know how I would react, probably scared and and worried.
