Hi, I heard many bad and frightening stories about cervical spine surgery, and I was very scared. Some people had nerves damaged, the others had infections, but when my surgery was over, I realized that everything was fine. I just wanted to tell all of you not to be scared, because it is a surgery like any other.

Hi, I had a cervical spine surgery a year ago, and it was easy. They used a bone from my own body for the cervical spine surgery instead of some foreign object. I know what you mean about those stories, I was also very scared. I actually have a friend who really had a complication after cervical spine surgery. He had his nerve damaged, and he still suffers form constant pain. Fortunately, my surgery was easy and I didn’t have any complications. This surgery really relieved my pain, numbness and tingling, more than I expected. However, I still sometimes feel weakness in that area, but it doesn’t matter.
