Hi, I am 20 years old, and I found out that I’m pregnant. I am still in shock, and I really need support and someone to talk to. I have a strange relationship with my parents, I am embarrassed even to hold my boyfriends’ hand in front of them. Now imagine how would I feel if they would know that I’m pregnant!

Hi, don’t worry so much about your parents, this is about you. You will have to make an important decision, which won’t be an easy thing to do. You should probably talk to your friends and family about this, but don’t forget that the final decision is only yours. Other people can only give you advices and tell you their opinions, but you have to realize what it is that you want. Don’t forget one important thing- if you decide to keep this baby, and if the father doesn’t stay around, you will need support of your family. It is harder that you can imagine raising a baby on your own, without anyone’s help. But it doesn’t mean that your parents won’t give you support. They will probably be surprised because they don’t expect something like this, but maybe they‘ll be very understanding.

I've been there. I was 20 when I got pregnant the first time too. My parents hadn't even met my boyfriend at the time, let alone suspected that we were intimate. They eventually got over the shock, and now she's the love of their lives. Especially since her dad is no where to be found. If it wasn't for my parents I don't know what I would've done. Its definately hard to raise a child on your own. Family is very important. Good luck.
