need your opinion on prenancy and dysplasia

i know someone who is 3 weeks pregnant and has found out she has severe dysplasia they have to do the procedure where they cut it out will this cause her to miscarry? Question

i'm not sure about the risks to the baby. BUT I have cervical dysplasia and tell her to get a second opinion before undergoing ANYTHING! Dr.'s are very quick to jump to all the procedures.. depending on what stage hers is, she may just need to wait a month or so and have another pap done, it may come back normal. i had the biopsy done and the dr. pushed the leep procedure and when i got a second opinion, my pap came back clear. so PLEASE tell her to get a second opinion. ESPECIALLY if she's planning on doing this pregnant! good luck to your friend!!!
