negative test results..pls share your stories!!

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant and I am currently over three weeks late for my period. I am tired all of the time, have been having cramping, my nipples are a bit sensitive and I have had very frequent urination. I have taken several pregnancy tests with the last one being about 4 days ago and they continue to show negative. I was wondeirng if any of you had negative test results and were pregnant, and if it took awhile to show up on a test? I am getting very impatient!

If the HPTs are showing negative but you still think you may be pregnant, go to a doctor for a blood test. Some (very few) pregnancies don't seem to detect on HPTs but a blood test is 100% accurate.

Hi there,

I took four tests at home and all were negative. I took another urine test at my GP's and it was negative this was basically one test a week for a month. I gave up and waited two weeks - bang I was pregnant. I felt pregnant before the positive. A friend of mine had a difference of three days between a negative and positive - a blood test will help detect early pregnancy if you want to find out ASAP.

I took a home pregnancy test and it was neg. and then a few weeks later it was positive. my baby is the proof that sometimes these test could be wrong if taken to early.
