well its been a terrible few months ,we met our daughters new boyfriend for the first time,after hed moved in with her and our grandson,we did not know hed moved in till the week before she bought him accross,but my my we were in total shock .as he admitted to abusing our grandson ,when we asked our daughter she said yes he has ,and on that i told her to go home,i contacted other family members,on to which we all knew what had to be do .the social welfare are now involved,our daughter has said very nasty things about us ,and with protecting our younger daughter its been a totally draining time ,its like living in some sort of dream ,and all the daughter says is what wrong hes said sorry.i look at the little boy whos only 2 a baby whos had these things done to him and cry lots ,im totally excusted drained ,our grandson is living here now untill things can be sorted,ive also had a cough for over a week now could his be nerves.

Well done for standing up for what is right and protecting your little grandson. Too many people are aware of abuse but don't do anything about it as they don't want to cause trouble or think it is none of their business.
As for your grandson crying a lot, he should settle down in time being with loving and supportive people. For yourself, make sure you take time to relax. Maybe ringing a support line or seeing someone might help? Watching family members make mistakes is never easy, I hope it all works out well for you.
