new hemroids a week after my surgery

I just finished getting my surgery and have a protruding 1/2 quarter size
lump on the outside of my anus. is this something from the surgery that has to heal or has anyone ended up with a hemmroid from surgery?

I am 18 days post op - I also have few small lumps. I saw the doctor and he said it was normal, just swelling. He said it would go down. I asked if they were new hemorrhoids and he said no. How many days out are you? I still can't sit, can you?

Our doctor said that the surgery leaves some skin tags that can be left alone or later removed.

Could be swelling, too.

Probably nothing to worry about.
