Nicotine patches are designed to help you quit smoking by reducing your craving for tobacco. Each transdermal patch contains a specific amount of nicotine, usually 1, 2 or 4 milligrams in form of a pad or gel. Your daily need of nicotine depends on your former consumption of cigarettes, if you were heavy smoker you need 4 mg patch. And you need to decrease in time the amount of nicotine. It will provide you relief from symptoms of lack of nicotine like anger, anxiety, concentration problems, irritability, frustration, or restlessness. I think that Habitrol, NIco derm and Nicotrol are widely available on the market.
